I’ve got a blackberry and if you want to connected your laptop as a modem, the best way is to install the blackberry desk top manger. Once done there is a tap called ( Us phone as a modem ) It takes 2 step and you are connected. Make sure your wifi is off and away you go.

I current use a blackberry BOLD and always travelling about, I used my blackberry to connect my laptop, and the only thing was that the data usage was very high. If I was you I would buy a USB dongle and you can have no worry about data charges. One of my bills using my blackberry was £200 were I get full use for a lot less than that.

I followed all of the step above, I was not able to connect. I got a error message:
Error 651: The modem has reported an error.
Not sure what I can do next….
